Breath-taking Views

The habitat provided on Gallatin River Ranch‘s land for birds and animals is truly remarkable. This is one of the last strongholds for bald eagles, osprey, otters, weasels, mink, martin, beaver, sandhill cranes, herons and pelicans. Geese, ducks and cranes are hatched out here and are abundant in the spring and fall. Trophy-sized whitetail, mule deer and antelope abound on this unique property. Elk and even an occasional cougar might be spotted in the surrounding foothills. As remarkable as the bird and big game hunting is near the Ranch, it is equaled or surpassed by the quality and quantity of the trout. Really big trout keep our fly-fishing friends coming back for more!
